Over the past five days the 2nd Bangkok Used Car & Super Car Show 2010 has taken place at the Impact Arena which is sited on the edge of the city. With all the usual glitz, glamour and famous brand names this has however been a motor show with a difference as the booths were in the most part dedicated to used prestige cars as well as many "gray" private imports which were unashamedly on sale, sporting price tags and often "sold" stickers, as in effect the exhibition hall's vast floor space was turned into a gigantic car sales "lot" with row after row of gleaming secondhand cars, although in many cases it was hard to tell such was the high standard of presentation on show. Detroit native, Jean DuShon (born Anna Jean Harris) was the very first artist to record the legendary Ron Miller/Orlando Murden classic, For Once in My Life. Others have claimed to be the first, but it was DuShon who was invited to Miller's home to interpret the tune. DuShon started singing gospel as a child in a Baptist church and later won numerous talent contests which inspired her to go professional at 15.
